Aclaimant Profiled in AM Best

On February 2, 2018, AM Best profiled Aclaimant as part of its Insurance Professionals and and Claims Resources group. We're excited to join this impressive group of innovators creating new products in the insurance space.

Since 1899, AM Best has been an important resource for insurance professionals looking to stay on top of their industry. While originally a rating agency for insurance companies, AM Best also maintains a list of expert products and services aimed at insurance specialists. This list recognizes leaders who are innovating in the insurance space--whether it’s with technology, brokerage firms, attorneys, TPA’s, and more.

Aclaimant is a resolution performance system that uses incident management technology to help companies see risk more clearly and do something about it. It digitizes incident reporting and creates actionable items to manage workplace accidents. We’ve had success working with staffing companies, brokers, hospitality companies, insurance carriers, construction, and many more.

Aclaimant Recognized in Built in Chicago

On August 23, Built in Chicago recognized Aclaimant as a major player in Chicago’s insurance technology industry. Although the companies on this list are diverse, all use modern technology to improve an underserved space in the insurance industry, such as using mobile apps to file auto claims, or using predictive analytics to save money on car insurance. Given the amount of fresh ideas here, it’s no surprise that insurance technology—or insurtech, as it is often called—is expected to grow exponentially as new technologies continue to improve outdated processes.

The Psychology of Aclaimant: The Rules of Engagement

The Psychology of Aclaimant: The Rules of Engagement

The Rules of Engagement in military terms are defined as “a directive issued by a military authority specifying the circumstances and limitations under which forces will engage in combat with the enemy." At Aclaimant, we are waging a war against the status quo when it comes to digitizing the incident reporting process and creating technological tools of engagement that reduce the ultimate cost of risk for employee’s, employers and carriers...

It's About T.I.M.E.

It's About T.I.M.E.

Zig Ziglar is quoted as saying “If you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time.” The insurance industry has traditionally lagged behind the Software as a Service (SaaS) model. As a result of our own experience in the claims administration process our target market continues to expand because the phrase “timing is everything” is universally applicable for an employee, employer and carrier...

Think Like An Underwriter, Act Like An Innovator

Think Like An Underwriter, Act Like An Innovator

So what does the difference between wants and needs, first impressions and second chances, have to do with winning the war on insurance rates? Why should a staffing firm owner think like an underwriter but act like an innovator?  How does your understanding of the economic impact of what to do ‘before, during and after” a work related incident is reported reduce the ultimate cost of risk?

Look beyond the tunnel, our vision for Aclaimant

Look beyond the tunnel, our vision for Aclaimant

The original vision for Aclaimant was to find a mobile app solution to reduce the costs associated with the need to dramatically shorten lag time reporting period. Why were so many industry groups taking so long to report an incident? Why wasn’t there a tool of engagement that recognized the importance of winning the race to the data?   Why isn’t access to the information supply chain available in real time?
